PRODUCT USES AND
BENEFITS
The Karaca Mai Series is unique in its production method, as are its unique patterns.
The Mai Series is not produced in the traditional porcelain production method, which involves firing the clay at high temperatures, but rather using a special underglaze and multicolored printing technique unique to this series. In this technique, patterns are printed onto dough, then baked. A special gloss-enhancing agent is applied to the surface, and then baked again. This results in durable patterns that last a lifetime and are dishwasher-safe. Just like the centuries-old Turkish culinary tradition, they are also suitable for microwave and dishwasher use.
